PRP/PRF Hair Restoration
Concerns:
Thinning hair, hair loss, receding hairline, weakened follicles, post-partum shedding, androgenic alopecia, overall scalp health
At La Peau Skin Lab, we offer PRP and PRF Hair Restoration—a cutting-edge, non-surgical solution that uses your body’s own growth factors to stimulate hair regrowth and improve scalp health. This treatment is performed by Dr. Noshad, our highly trained physician with expertise in regenerative medicine and hair restoration.
PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) and PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) are derived from your own blood. After a simple blood draw, the sample is spun in a centrifuge to isolate the regenerative platelets and growth factors. These are then carefully injected into targeted areas of your scalp, where they awaken dormant follicles and encourage natural, thicker, and healthier hair growth.
Unlike medications or transplants, this approach is 100% natural, with minimal downtime and no synthetic chemicals—making it ideal for those looking for a safe, evidence-based alternative to combat early-stage hair loss.

Downtime
Following your PRP/PRF Hair Restoration treatment, you may experience some mild swelling, tenderness, or redness at the injection sites. These effects are temporary and typically subside within 24–72 hours. Some patients may notice slight scalp tightness or pinpoint bruising, especially in more sensitive areas. You can resume most daily activities immediately, but we recommend avoiding heavy exercise, saunas, or alcohol for the first 24–48 hours. Our team will provide tailored aftercare instructions to support optimal healing and hair follicle stimulation.

Procedure
Your treatment begins with a personalized consultation with Dr. Noshad, who will assess your hair loss pattern and develop a tailored PRP or PRF treatment plan. On the day of your procedure, a small amount of blood is drawn and spun in a centrifuge to extract the platelet-rich plasma or fibrin. While your PRP/PRF is being prepared, a topical numbing cream is applied to your scalp to minimize discomfort. Once ready, the PRP/PRF is skillfully injected into targeted areas of the scalp where hair thinning or loss is present. The entire process takes approximately 60–90 minutes. You’ll be provided with detailed post-care instructions to ensure the best possible outcome.

Results
Hair regrowth is a gradual process. Most patients begin to see early signs of improvement—such as reduced shedding and increased hair density—within 3 to 6 months. Because hair growth cycles vary, a series of 3–6 treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart is typically recommended for optimal results. Final results include fuller, stronger, and healthier-looking hair over time, with ongoing improvement for up to a year. Maintenance sessions every 6–12 months may be advised based on individual needs.

Aftercare
To ensure the most effective results and smooth recovery, it’s important to follow the guidelines below:
PRE-CARE: What to Avoid Before Treatment
Avoid the following for at least 5–7 days before your PRP/PRF appointment:
Blood-thinning agents (e.g., Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Advil, fish oil, vitamin E)
Alcohol and caffeine for 24 hours before your session
Hair dye, chemical treatments, or perms
Retinoids, exfoliants, or acids on the scalp
Corticosteroids or steroid-based treatments
You should also:
Stay well-hydrated in the days leading up to your appointment
Eat a healthy meal prior to your visit (do not arrive on an empty stomach)
POST-CARE: What to Expect & Avoid After Treatment
In the 24–72 hours following your PRP/PRF hair treatment, please avoid:
Washing your hair for the first 24 hours
Direct sun exposure on the scalp
Intense exercise, sweating, saunas, and hot yoga
Hair coloring or chemical treatments for at least 1 week
Use of topical scalp medications (e.g., Minoxidil/Rogaine) for 48–72 hours
Anti-inflammatory medications such as Advil, Motrin, or Aleve for 3 days post-treatment
(These may interfere with the body’s healing process)
You may experience mild tenderness, redness, or small bumps where the PRP/PRF was injected—this is a normal part of the healing process. If needed, you can use Tylenol for discomfort (avoid NSAIDs unless instructed otherwise).
